How to Cook White Sauce Pasta?

 White Sauce Pasta Recipe 

If you are getting bored of  the daily routine food, and want something cheesy then this is the best solution that you could ever get. I know there are many brands out there in the market which sell white sauce pasta and other types of pasta, but are they healthy? Most of the products that you get in the market are kind of preserved foods. Food is most enjoyable when it is cooked with fresh veggies, so that you get the most of the nutrition that you want from the food that you eat. So why opt for preserved food when you can make it healthy at home very easily! And another plus with this recipe is that, its gonna be more creamier than the processed food. I'm sure you will love it, and would want to cook it again.    


Ingredients That You Will Require :

  1. Any shape of pasta that you like 
  2. Veggies like Onion, Capsicum, Corn (or any other vegetable you prefer)  
  3. Garlic
  4. Cheese 
  5. Milk 
  6. Maida (White Flour)
  7. Oil and Butter 
  8. Oregano  and Chilly Flakes 
  9. Powdered Black Pepper 
  10. And of-course Salt

Lets get started with the cooking :

Firstly, get ready with your vegetables; chop them finely. It is up to you, what other vegetables you would like to add in your pasta. Here I'm using the easily available veggies, that you can get at any place form the market. The very basic, Boiling of the pasta; which is the main thing of our dish. Boil the pasta at low flame with a tsp of oil and a pinch of salt, as we will be adding more salt later. Once the pasta is boiled, rinse the excess water and keep it aside. Now the second part, Heat a tsp of oil in a pan and add finely chopped garlic, after which you can add the chopped onions. Cook the onion till it is translucent after which the chopped Capsicum goes in. Remember that you're not supposed to cook it for a long time, in order to keep the crispiness that would give a different texture to your dish. Add some salt and two tsp of powdered black pepper. Lastly add the corn, because it takes very little time to cook. Now lets make the white sauce for our pasta!


                                                

This part can be a bit tricky!
 Heat two tsp of butter in another pan (this time get a bigger pan, because you are going to add the cooked vegetables and the boiled pasta in the same pan). When the butter is melted, add 3-4 tsp of Maida (white flour), and keep steering it for two minutes. When its almost going to turn its color from white to light yellowish, add the milk. Keep steering it to avoid lumps. When the sauce is at the boiling stage add the grated cheese. If you are using Amul or Milky Mist cheese, then two-three dices of cheese is sufficient. Mix well till the cheese melts fully into the sauce. Add chilly flakes and oregano; 2-3 tsp each. Later add the cooked veggies, and mix it well with the sauce. Finally, add the boiled pasta and let it cook for 2 minutes. And your white sauce pasta is ready!
